Maine has just fallen again to the unrelenting religious and homophobic regime that seems to be infesting this country. Just as California had fallen, Maine has followed suite. The government has decided to repeal the marriage equality law and now all LGBT persons, young and old, gay or lesbian, are now being denied basic civil rights given to us by our forefather's over two centuries ago in this nation that is supposed to be free and equal. Contemplate that, free and EQUAL. Denying the basic right of marriage is an assault on basic liberties of being a citizen of the United States of America. Having our basic rights suppressed by the government is a cause for action, we need not to stay silent or whisper this among the world anymore. We must stand tall and shout to the universe "No more!" Thousands of loving couples are now crying in despair and depression over this sick government's control! We need change, we need reform, just as in the Progressive movement in the Gilded Age of America; instead of safer working conditions, less work hours and more pay, we need to instead fight for what is right, what is just, and what is equal. Our founding fathers did not envision an unequal America, they fought for freedom and basic liberties for every man. Gandhi, fought for freedom from oppression of British rule, and so we need to fight for just basic freedoms. And thus, these terrible injustices will not go unheeded or unanswered by the people of the LGBT, this is a rallying cry for all those Homosexual, lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered, and even the good at heart Heterosexual individuals out there. We will not stand for this atrocity of our rights as human beings being violated. We must fight back, and we need not stop for anything until we achieve the ability to be equal to everyone else in marriage. We will fight them in the streets, in the courts and in the alleys, we will march to their capitol, unhinge their foundation, and demand to be treated as equals by the law. We will not stop, be it hell or high water, repression by blinded police forces, or even bloody revolution. We will fight, we will bring them to their knees, and we will be victorious!
